If you've ever visited Hacker News, you've almost certainly seen the "Show HN" or "Ask HN" posts. Well, it's time to get off the Internet and tell us about it face to face. We'll provide you with our honest feedback, you provide us with a great hack, or idea. We'll give you 5 minutes to show off your tool, hack, library (did you just write a library to access the Meetup API in Go!?), whatever. We're language and software/hardware agnostic, so it's all fair game. After you present, it's an open f …

This group is open to all Jewish moms with toddlers (children 2-5 years old). I decided to start this Meetup group after noticing the lack of informal Jewish groups for both moms and families with young children since we moved to Marlboro, NJ this summer. Of course, if you live in Manalapan or Freehold you are welcome to join as well. The purpose of this group is mostly for moms and children to get together, both on weekdays if they are stay-at-home parents or work from home or work part tim …

… She helped raise the money to build the first town library. For forty years this patriot kept the secret about her Roswell experiences. But that change the day the Air force came out with their "Roswell Case Closed" official conclusion. June said to herself she had had enough. She came forward with the whole tale including how the scientist was laughing themselves silly about the balloon cover story. How she tried to cut and tear and bend the material to know avail, and how the metal seem to ha …

… This doesn't mean that you can't join but we do need our new members to suggest activities and/or host playdates at a library, mall, kids play place, home, etc. Without that, we simply are not able to accommodate a schedule that a working mom would need for socialization. *If that changes, I will update this page. This group is based online so it helps if you check your e-mail and our site regularly so that you don't miss out on new events, cancellation notices, or any other important info per …

The HTML5 developers group is for people to get together and talk about how we’re starting to build applications using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript. It’s intended for both traditional front-end developers moving from websites to the larger world of web applications, as well as native/rich internet application developers who are looking to transfer their skills to these up-and-coming technologies. Semi-regular tutorials/discussions about OCaml language features and libraries. A meetup should ideally center around a topic which (1) contains some interesting core idea, (2) helps us get stuff done, (3) is reasonably accessible to people without a ton of OCaml experience (but who might be familiar with other MLs, Haskell, Scheme, etc...)
